The international and interdisciplinary project is delighted to announce a cooperation with the Rheinische Post Media Group, a prestigious publishing company based in Düsseldorf. With its roots in print journalism, the company has, since 1996, been operating one of the most successful news portals in Germany, with around 89 million page impressions and around 21 million visits per month.

During the next few months, the research group will conduct workshops with several journalists in Düsseldorf, which will help to provide informative and insightful, high-quality research about the use of AI in local journalism. Furthermore, the project team will co-develop a low-fidelity prototype of a so-called responsible AI application.

The project team is excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring and is looking forward to sharing new insights on the blog and through academic publications.
