The main research agenda of Prof. van Atteveldt is the development and application of computational methods and tools needed to study media effects in a fragmented digital media landscape. Furthermore, his research deals with introducing, adaptating, and validating approaches from AI and computational linguistics into communication science.
Previous working experience includes an Assistant Professorship at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
